BOSTON – Stephanie Fiorentino, a freshman, at Suffolk University’s College of Arts and Sciences, has been named to the Dean’s High Honor List for the Spring 2011 semester. Fiorentino was also awarded the prestigious Professor Steven Patterson General Chemistry Award for her outstanding academic achievement and was recognized for her excellence in Chemistry/Biochemistry. Fiorentino is majoring in Pre-Med and minoring in Education. She is the daughter of Jillian and Paul Fiorentino of Northford. Right this minute, the pressing need is for us to adopt a kitten.  This is the season when they come into this tough world for animals, through no fault of their own.  Mommy hadn't been spayed.   However, that mistake will not be repeated.  Animal Haven spays and neuters all the kittens before we adopt one or two or three.

If we live in the Greater New Haven, Connecticut region, we can swing by Animal Haven on 89 Mill Road in North Haven.  The hours are:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, noon until 3 P.M.  On Saturday the hours are noon until 5 P.M.  Animal Haven is easy to find from I-91 N or S as well as Route 15.  Here are directions.

We can also drop off all those kinds of food, nurturing, and cleaning supplies animals need.  Sweat equity is also welcome.  We can also come by and give of ourselves.

Doing just a little good does so much for kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs which need so little of love, food, and a nice soft blanket.
