Breast Milk Baby Dolls May Soon Be In Stores

It's a great idea! If you don't like....don't get simple as that. But I'm sure most little girls do it anyways I know I did when I was young! It's a natural thing! I breast feed my daughter & loved it! I always wanted to be a mom & do the best for my child! It's part of life!

The best thing to do is communicate to your child & explain things to them....It works in our house!!
My husband & I will ask our 4 year old daughter "What do you always want to do?" & her response is "the right thing!"  I'm gonna teach my daughter.....I'M NOT LEAVING IT TO HOLLYWOOD.

If this isn't best for your family then don't buy it.....but if they ask about at least be open to talk about it....You'll be surprised how smart your little ones are! = )

My grandmother gave me a doll that nursed from a bottle. After the doll nursed, the warm water ran all over my clothes as the doll "peed." I was horrified and I never played with another doll until I was 10. It is up to the parents, but if the doll were to poop, it just may turn a little girl into a tomboy faster than you ever imagined. Sometimes adult ideas are not interpreted the same in the child's mind. On one hand I "get" this and think it's a good idea for people who want to educate their children and raise them in an environment that is open about this kinda stuff, but on the other hand I'm unsure - not because I think a baby doll involving breastfeeding is sexual in any way (breasts aren't sexual by default or anything to be ashamed of or hide from children, as much as society would like us to believe; it's okay for a kid to know that boobies exist and what their biological function is, the horror) but more for the insinuation that motherhood is expected of all women and that this doll also sort of excludes boys from the make-believe parenting play. I know boys can't and never will be able to breast feed, so on one hand it makes sense, but I dunno, it's still a bit... strange? I can't put my finger on it.

I could also see an overbearing mother or father foisting it on his/her kid in the hopes that s/he'll receive grandkids one day, but her daughter may end up not wanting a family at all. But at least at that point it's the kid's own choice, so I guess it doesn't really make much of a difference...
