Epson 4990 Scanner - uneven scanning - Tech Support Forum
My Epson 4990 has developed a strange phenomena - its "white" background has become not uniformly white. In particular, the edges are grey and uneven. I attach a blank scan to demonstrate the problem. The problem is not with the white surface on the scanner cover - I scanned a white page and results are the same. The scanning surface glass is clean.
