Best Buy starts selling unlocked phones
I must say Kudos to BestBuy for selling unlocked phones. This is actually the same price as if you were to get the phone from an (unnamed) company. Factor in the phone price, plus the unlocking price, plus one month of service it comes to about $440… So, you can buy an unlocked phone, but it’s not really saving you any money.

If you used a credit card you can definitely get your money back. Ditto from eBay. Heck, a friend of mine got money back from Bell! He had cancelled a prepaid service but they kept billing him. Here are the magic words to use in situations like these even if they tell you they “can’t” issue a refund.
